About Chikun
General Information
Chikun Local Government Area is located in central Kaduna State, Nigeria, with its administrative headquarters in Kujama town. The area is one of the largest LGAs in Kaduna State and plays a major role in supporting the economy of Kaduna metropolis.
The LGA is home to diverse communities including the Gbagyi (indigenous inhabitants), Hausa, Fulani, and other ethnic groups from across Nigeria. These communities contribute to the cultural diversity and economic vitality of the area.
Chikun is known for its agricultural production, residential expansion, and important suburban districts such as Sabon Tasha, Narayi, and Gonin-Gora which serve as key economic and residential zones around Kaduna city.
